Responsibilities & Tasks:
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA/Test Engineer with strong expertise in software testing, to perform end-to-end testing for HVAC controller products. This role involves executing manual system tests and supporting the development of test automation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive system-level testing for HVAC controller products, ensuring alignment with system and customer requirements.
• Develop and execute manual and automated test cases, ensuring test results are recorded accurately and efficiently.
• Design and maintain test plans, test specifications, and detailed test documentation using test management tools like Jira, Xray.
• Write, review, and optimize test cases using best practices in software testing methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, hardware, and automation teams to ensure product quality.
• Analyze defects, identify root causes, and drive issue resolution collaboratively.
• Contribute to test automation using frameworks like Robot, Playwright.
Expected / Required skill set:
• Familiar with software testing methodologies and industry-standard techniques.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Robot framework, Playwright, etc.
• Hands on experience with Python programming language for test automation.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and control logic.
• Experience in writing and reviewing test cases based on system/customer requirements.
• Experience in using test management tools Jira, Xray.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have skills:
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
