Job Title:- Middleware Management Team Lead.
Department:- Information Technology.
Grade:- Senior Manager / AVP.
Reporting To:- IT – Project Manager.
POSITION PURPOSE :- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Middleware Management Team Lead to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of Middleware Administrators and ensuring the effective operation and performance of our middleware infrastructure. Your primary objective will be to lead the team in designing, implementing, and maintaining middleware solutions that enable seamless integration and communication between various systems and applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our middleware environment.
A. KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:- 1 Lead a team of Middleware Administrators, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success.
2 Ensures support for planned infrastructure and application activities.
3 Collaborate with development teams, architects, and project managers to understand middleware requirements and provide technical expertise in designing integrations and solutions.
4 Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of the middleware platforms through proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
5 Conduct regular health checks and audits of the middleware environment, identifying and resolving any issues or vulnerabilities.
6 Manage middleware configurations and deployments, ensuring proper version control and adherence to change management processes.
7 Implement and enforce security measures and best practices to protect the middleware infrastructure and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
8 Collaborate with operations teams to facilitate incident, problem, and change management processes related to middleware environments.
9 Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices in middleware, and proactively recommend improvements or enhancements to our infrastructure.
10 Design, implement, and maintain middleware solutions and infrastructure, including application servers, messaging systems, API gateways, and ESBs.
B. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:- Qualifications - Engineering Graduate. / Experience - 7+ years.

D. COMPETENCY
a. Technical Skills
Management Proven experience in managing and maintaining middleware infrastructure, including application servers, messaging systems, API gateways, and ESBs.
Technical knowledge Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with middleware technologies such as IBM WebSphere (MQ/IIB/ACE/WAS), Apache Tomcat, Red Hat JBoss, MuleSoft, or similar platforms.
